The Coutier family’s vineyard holdings are in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay and they have been there since 1619. This Village is so highly regarded for old vine, pristine fruit and exceptional minerality that other houses will produce wines from Ambonnay that are extremely expensive with one notable producer charging $2000 per bottle!
The family vineyards consist of 40 different plots located exclusively in Ambonnay with an average vine age of 38 years organically cultivated as they have never used herbicides and have focused only on organic fertilizers.
A blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay given the world class quality and attention to detail this often as known as one of the greatest values in the region…for now.
