The collection of Tuscany’s Le Pupille was born in early 2000 in an antique farmhouse surrounded by land made to perfectly support old Sangiovese grapes. As a winery that began as a small family estate, Le Pupille, which translates to “the pupils,” has become a center for modern entrepreneurial and viticultural knowledge in the region. The winery is best known for its Saffredi, an IGT blend made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, which is also thought of as the Lafite of Tuscany.
