High West Distillery is located in Park City, Utah and produces a number of spirits. Double Rye is a blend of 2-7 years old rye whiskeys.
The nose is very earthy with a lot of flora and mint. There are also notes of a freshly mown lawn.
On the palate, this rye has medium viscosity with notes of vanilla, citrus, nutmeg, and allspice. The florality and grass notes carry a soothing yet serious presence over from the palate.
