Eladio Piñeiro has been crafting wine from Albariño since before the Rías Baixas appellation was granted. These vineyards are located in the Salnés Valley and are about 30 years old. The wine is aged on the lees, giving texture to the intensely tropical fruit aromas that these vines give. After all of these years he is finally making the type of wines that he loves. Grapes experience a bit of skin contact, and the wine sits on its lees for over a year, so expect a textured and nuanced fuller-bodied white wine, expressing an unfolding story of salty sea spray, tropical fruit and white flowers during its time in your glass.
