This indigenous varietal to the island of Sicily has a medium bodied almost coat to round like texture but with a hint of mint orality that can only come from the volcanic contribution from Mount Etna.
The purity of this wine offers a multi century old representation of a culture with a deep pride of its traditions and products that they have created for centuries.
Aromas of dried cherry, chocolate, smoke, herb and spice. It gains some licorice notes with time in the glass. Soft round fruity medium bodied palate with a good dose of acidity. The wines gives off dried cherry, truffle and smoky flavors in the mouth. Long finish.
