This bottling is a 50/50 split of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It has a ton of sparkling and that telltale bread dough smell that is so much an indicator of Champagne. It's doesn't have the sweetness that so many of the big commercial brands have today. Think of the style as like Moet et Chandon, but with more character. Drink it as a starter wine or with any seafood. There's enough weight that it can be enjoyed throughout a meal.
