From one of Montalcino’s finest producers of Brunello, this is a region in Tuscany known for producing their most noble red wines. Only 150 producers are allowed to be called Brunello and Altesino is one of the oldest families there.
Made from an offshoot of the native Chianti grape known as Sangiovese, Brunello through centuries of evolution has developed a slightly different profile with deeper fruit flavor and richer texture and with this offering, beautiful depth and finesse on the palate.
